that moment 2 weeks later when you realize you didn’t look the new NST whiskey shell boots over well enough. View attachment 1080021

I have those on my boots, never really thought about it much. I’d be way more concerned about the stain/color variation....maybe it’s just the camera.

Yeah, unfortunately it’s not the camera. Between all the black flecks, the holes, and stains on them, I’m at the “whatev’s” point with these. Selling em off is a momentary thought, but the reality is I’m not much into selling my shoes. They will just be a pair that fills a spot in my rotation. Light shell is a fussy mistress.

This prompted me to go check my boots. About 1/2 have similar holes or lasting marks, funny none of the AE or GS have them, so they must be better at hiding the marks/holes. I really don't think it matters, just part of the shoe/boot process, but, of course, now we will all be looking for them on EVERY pair we get......... and if they really bother you, and those are an 8.5 or 9 D, I'd be willing to help you out :)

Whiskey Wednesday. Lighting doesn't do these justice.

Just got a TSM email on their new slip-on Chukka in Color 8.

https://www.theshoemart.com/alden-s...uble-gore-slip-on-chukka-boot-d8709-color-8/?

Would be curious to see how they sell.

Need Supply has had similar (non shell) versions on sale for months now.
Saw that. AoM has a pair very similar they've had for a while, also on Aberdeen. Yenni is ordering black and #8 on plaza. I jumped in on the black as I think they're a uniquely odd design. I'm kinda wondering what's going on for two shops to pop up with a design I never hear about
