I have mentioned in the past that I'm not a big fan of CXL. I have grossly underrated these natty CXL Bluchers and I apologize, as I absolutely love them!

Natural CXL is one of the best shoe leathers out there. Aside from shell, natty CXL might be my favorite actually.

Nice! I like natural CXL Indys so much I bought two pairs (one on commando, one on double waterloc). I have a pair of natural CXL wingtip boots I have yet to break in.

With the recent addition of the Venice boot from Brogue, my very modest collection of Aldens has increased to 3 pairs. I don't have any other dress shoes/boots. That being the case, I will rotate between these 3 pairs until I add more to the collection (which is not likely until AFTER the wedding...). That means I will wear each pair significantly more than either of you. Luckily, I work in an office that doesn't require too much walking. So based off of that, it looks like I'll be resoling the leather soles in about one year.

you might very well get a few years with a 3 pair rotation - with an average 5 or 6 pair rotation I had a pair of AE loafers go 8 years?

Nice. I’ve got 2 Tankers. 1 TB with Commando and 1 Barrie with Waterlock.
