Good morning everyone! Rocking AoC’s earth chamois Indy boots on a rainy Friday.

If they are cherished, why offload? there must be room in closet somewhere. Unless by selling them, you can get a new pair of Alden's......

The volume of my foot just doesnt agree with the normal width in TB. I get that dreaded hiss noise whenever i walk making it impossible to sneak up on people. The sentiment comes from the fact they were my first pair of shell shoes but their absence will make way for at least one new pair. These will eventually be replaced with a pair one width down but for now I've got my eye on a pair of 986.

That is a good reason to offload!

Curious - any insight into the process for touching-up antique edges? Been meaning to clean up a couple pairs myself..

The main ingredient is the AE chili edge dressing, of course. I happened to happen some leather working stuff around so kind of messed around with it. The process was basically gum trag/beeswax with a burnisher to set the corners and used the flat side with some gum trag to shine it up. After it dried I added the chili dressing and croutons. Really though, its 90% the dressing.
