Like them. Have a feeling this may be a loafer/blucher summer on my end as have them, so why not wear them.

Just sharing my new Alden 664 Tassel Loafers in Shell Cordovan. They are my first Cordovan shoes and I've noticed that the Shell Cordovan has a beautiful shininess and it is very comfortable but it wrinkles so much. Are you agree in your experiences?

Do not.. The Beef Roll looks good but not sure the construction of that loafer has the same cork bedding in Alden. Maybe another manufacturer?

Alden offers a beefroll penny mocc in their Cape Cod Collection. I believe these are non-GYW and made in Maine, which is why they're generally much cheaper ($300-350 range).

Does anyone own AOC 22 wingtip boot on the Aberdeen last? I am wondering if it looks balanced, especially with the narrow toe box. I like the AOC WTB on Barrie and B&M on Plaza, but I am thinking the AOC 22 might be a better choice with dress pants and still be appropriate with more casual pants.

Have a pair of Oak Street Boots, not overly impressed. They aren't bad, but for the price I expected a little more. Maybe loafers are better?

Just a curiosity: I have just purchased from a parisian authorized dealer a pair of Tassel Loafer 664 in Cordovan. From the code inside the shoes seems that the this pair was made in a year that ends with 1 (1G09 etc..). Is it possible that a pair of shoes just bought was made in 2011?? Do you know how many pairs of the Shell Cordovan tassel loafers Alden is able to made in a year?

1G production code would likely mean July 2011. Very unlikely they're from 2001 or 1991...

Don't know how many pairs they make a year.

Depends on the retailer and how quickly they sell through an order. In this case I assume you either have a fairly uncommon size or they don’t sell a lot of these loafers at this store.
