No, she has a standing set that she goes through and this is not on the list. This was the last of Alden’s latest batch of Ravello and it had some inconsistencies in the Shell so Alden said they wouldn’t do a PTB, so Kathy decided that a NST would be fun.

Thanks mike, I was trying to ask if there is a list of the various make ups she has in the works (not specifically about the ravello NST).

Yeah, she has probably about 15-20 models that she does from LWBs, PTBs, Medallion Cap Toe Bluchers, to her famous CT Boots... Not too aware of too much being in production at the moment... But to be honest, the ones that I already own, I don't track super closely...

Those look awesome.

I was braving the weather in some Edward Green Galways, I was surprised they performed well

There are some amazing countrified Galways like the rosewood country calf version from Westley Richards that I think would really kick ass in a storm. Would love to own a pair someday, or one of the dressier versions, but it’s just more money than I want to spend on a pair of GYW RTW boots.

Nice. Any idea off the top of your head what make ups are pending?

Good to know. Do you just leave a deposit and final payment collected when shipped?

@BackInTheJox what Mike said!
Dd1101, there is no deposit required (at least for standard sizes)!

Is it normal for the lace guards to be so misaligned? Maybe I’m crazy. View attachment 935248 View attachment 935248

Nice Dalton’s! I have seconds in MacNeil with the same situache goin on with one but it’s not big enough to matter to me. How do they fit and feel?

Edit: now that I realize which forum I’m in I’m going to go out on a limb here and say they’re probably not Dalton’s lol. Big10 tourneys got me twisted around today. Nice boots tho!

These are great! Which last and where are they from?

Trubalance last - they are from Brick and Mortar in Seattle. I believe they are doing a preorder now.

I’ve owned a ton of Alden models over the years, including a lot of rare cordovan. These are some of the best boots I have owned from them, and they have have received compliments today already.

I’m almost satisfied with my Alden boot collection now - I do need a cordovan model, but I think I am
almost there with a 403, a black
regina grain boot and this tanker. I’m supplementing it with Edward Green.
