Cigar Indy on commando.
All this talk about black shoes. My black shell 4065, owned for 5 or 6 years, get consistent wear every fall, winter and spring, year after year. It's really a must own for me and is a dapper option for dress wear during cold times like we have now
Anyone know where I can find this boot but with matched eyelets and hooks? The Frans Boone black parajumper is exactly what I want but I've not seen it in my size 8E, and I don't think I can get them to special order one for me on the next batch.

I think Frans Boone is the only one that does that makeup with hooks. The stock version that the Shoe Mart & Alden NYC have is all eyelets.
Excellent suggestions. Thanks.
As I'm in Europe I was hoping to be abble to get it from a non US retailer.
Seems like Frans Boone has some:

I don't think I'll find some burnished tan or whisky shell in europe, the suede will be much easier.
