As I begin my Alden collection, there are a few pairs that are at the top of my list. I would love to own a pair of whiskey shell cordovan plain toe bluchers. Unfortunately, many of the shoes/boots that are at the top of my list are not currently being made. Any tips?

i would consider the second hand market. ebay and our sales forum.
unless you're barrie 10 D, in that case used shoes are disgusting.

My new #8 PTB, with an emphasis on the "plain." Sadly, being a EEE, I find I am quickly exhausting all of the shell options from Alden.

I'm considering a pair of BB unlined LHS as well. I take a 8.5 D in Barrie. Given that these are unlined, can anyone tell me if they fit differently than the lined LHS? Will I need to go down a size or width? Thanks!

i wear bb lhs and van lasted loafers tts. bbs fit my feet better.

fantastic shoes. i brushed 4 pairs yesterday after work.

Very lucky, indeed. They're a one-off special order. Not in anyone's supply, unfortunately.

Not sure about the cap toes. Pretty sure the tassels are on Aberdeen last and the PTB are on Barrie.

I can never remember brooks lasts- don't count out snap, copley and leydon as possibilities here. Sorry OP- I don't know the answer with any certainty without searching.

I don't know the BB lasts that well. Some are made in lasts exclusive to BB. Email Alden and they will almost certainly reply with a few days.

Yep, contacting Alden is the safest way to confirm about the last!

Guys I am thinking of a black shell penny loafer
Alden 987 can last or the brooks brothers low vamp shell cordovan penny loafer or the unlined one which I figured was just like the 987 but unlined
Any suggestions on the difference. I normally wear a 11 in a Barrie last ans 11.5 in most other brands was thinking 11.5 here to
