I dont get what is so innovative about cutting big holes out of already established garments.

I finished the prototype on my very unique cutout turtleneck shirt collars also in the attachments.

I've always wanted a turtleneck with air conditioning slits for my cricoid cartilage.

Cutout and cutaway fashion is all over Europe mens and womenswear this past 2 seasons. This new equation in fashion is not invented on the runways of Paris or Milan, but an American invention discovered in a basement studio in Minnesota 15 years ago. I have beem copped and ripped by the greatest fashion houses in the world, so I know my vision is legit. Now, I just need to get my name out there. Dior Homme seems to have a special eye tuned into my work. Check out the uniqueness and the future of menswear in the photos attached courtesy of Dior Homme 09/10. I am not crazy, just misunderstood.

Unfortunately, I am an Indie designer and I dont have the money of Dior and the infrastructure like KVA has at his disposal to make such a beautiful piece.

What I mean by the next dimension in style is DEPTH. You can see inside the cutout panel of the jacket in a 3D perspective. Men in general are mathematical creatures and we see detail in lines. Unfortunately, for a hundred years we have seen blazers in an XY linear function and left out the function of Z which is DEPTH. A picture isnt a portrait without depth!!!! What this jacket represents is a new movement in menswear from traditional linear line to a futuristic geometric lines. A graduation from algebra to geometry. Cutout fashion design is a beautiful philosophy that some think is crazy, but it is the next generation style. A picture is not a portrait without depth and with depth comes shadow. Shadow fashion is on the horizon and I am glad KVA is seeing the beauty of mathematical fashion design.

there is a large difference between fine tailoring and cutting a hole in the brim of a hat.

How do you prefer trousers to be finished?

  • Plain hem

  • Cuffed (1.5 inches or less)

  • Cuffed (more than 1.5 inches)

  • No preference, as long as the proportions work
