Don't they have access to a good tailor? That salesman mind tricked you like despot says its not an easy alteration.Just got these two suits back from Brooks Brothers in Rockefeller Plaza and noticed these ripples on my shoulders. I was told it’s because my shoulders are high/squared on this site and that they could be fixed with a good tailor.
Can anyone recommend me a tailor that can do this? Any idea how much this would cost?

Do you know how much they charge for a hem? Nothing else additional needed, just need an inch or two for a few pairs.I really don't post here, but since I saw references to L&S, for what it's worth that's where I've been taking everything for the past 4-5 years and I've been very happy. Probably not the cheapest, but very reliable, and they seem to be knowledgeable. I've taken in a 70's era Tommy Nutter tuxedo, and one of the older guys on staff was thrilled as he said he was friends with Edward Sexton, who was going to visit soon (obviously before Edward passed away). Sometimes I consider trying the Tailoring Room, but if I'm happy with L&S why change?
Tailoring room prices have creeped up. Hem is $25 and pants waist open is $35.Do you know how much they charge for a hem? Nothing else additional needed, just need an inch or two for a few pairs.
Was going to go Tailoring Room but price list on website now has it starting at $25 and I'm not around LES as much anymore so it's a bit out of way. Wazin used to be a few blocks away from work but since changing employers is now more like 20-25 minutes.
Tbh if it's starting at like $25 I'm wondering if I should just go to one of those dry cleaner/tailors, esp since hems are fairly simple.
Yeah I doubt that L&S would be cheaper than other places for a hem. In fact if a hem was all I needed I'd probably go elsewhere, but L&S is where I take things that require multiple adjustments to waists, hems, sleeve lengths, side panels, etc. simply because they've been reliable every time.Do you know how much they charge for a hem?
