Any nice white canvas low tops out there? Should be some deals on remaining stock as we move into winter.
Had some Onitsuka Tigers that have worn out and are no longer sold.
@otc if you're still looking, Tretorn is having a tent sale. $25 for canvas shoes.
Sorry, if they have been discussed, but are there any thoughts on the Frank & Oak minimalist sneaker line? The shoes look clean online and have a decent profile, price would be right too, but I'm always skeptical of quality and consistency with their brand.
In case context matters, I'm not a "sneaker guy". Typically boots in winter, oxfords or cheap canvas sneakers in summer. I do feel like a decent pair of simplistic leather sneakers is missing from my lineup, but honestly cannot justify spending over $200 or so on them.
When I tried them last summer they were worse than a pair of Adidas. Sloppily stitched on sole, stitching on the uppers jumped out of place onto the toebox, the thick 'tack' stitches were tearing the leather, the white coating was already chipping off before wear and they didn't come with waxed laces as advertised at the time. Maybe things have improved since then, but looking at the item page now it just looks like they've removed a few of the 'luxury sneaker' claims.
Honestly just go with epaulet or cp.
Looking for a slip on like this one, with a higher sole, in suede or leather, I don't know how to call it exactly, any suggestions?
look into Eytys
