Does anyone own the now-rather-old variety of Armoury jeans with the small coin pocket, pictured below. I'm wondering how it fits relative to, say, the present-day Armoury Sports Chino. From pictures I have seen it seem rather low-waisted and slender, but would like to confirm.

Does anyone have experience with fit difference between Williams Lockie that's made for the Armory vs Williams Lockie's own brand? After some research I see the designs are really similar but it's my understanding that the armory has a more menswear niche fit with a shorter length. I bought a 4 ply lambswool from the Armory as I think the size will fit better than the Lockie I could get. Thank you.

I'm wondering if any can speak to the fit of Armoury's Simon Bolzoni shoes. I've seen discussion of the Jubilee and older Fukuda models, but I'm wondering about the newer Berkeley Cap-Toe and Gilman Split-Toe.

Width? Instep? Forefoot? Volume? Other overall impressions?

Any insight would be appreciated!

I think that looks pretty good. If you go larger I think it'll be too big in the waist. It's not pulling at all at the button point and the shoulders look natural to me.

I think one size larger might be worth trying, if you may prefer a bit more room in the shoulders as you've said. The back on this one might be a bit crumply because of the shipping but lower back looks a bit tight?

Try posting this on the alterations thread for more feedback. Some of the experts like Despos frequent that thread.

How does this Model 3 look on me? I was thinking maybe I could go one size larger just to be a little more comfortable in the shoulders.

I'm inclined to say this looks fine, but it is somewhat hard to tell with the lighting. Especially with Ring's Model 3, a jacket starts to feel too small when my delts are poking out into to sleevehead. That doesn't appear to be the case here...

I think the biggest thing is I have larger arms/shoulders so I can feel the armhole seam at my front delt more than other jackets I've owned with the same measurements. Do you feel that the armholes run smaller on these?

Maybe the size up could give me slight relief there while still not being too long/big? The top of my shoulder is about in line with the seam, but I think there's for the 0.4in or whatever the next size up gives.

How do you prefer trousers to be finished?

  • Plain hem

  • Cuffed (1.5 inches or less)

  • Cuffed (more than 1.5 inches)

  • No preference, as long as the proportions work
