Is anyone going to the sample sale and would be willing to proxy for me? Looking specifically for the model 11 sport coat in the cotton/wool madras Fox Brothers fabric in size US 38. I live in DC if that matters. Thanks!

Does anyone own the indoors man sweater and mind commenting their thoughts on it?

I am thinking of picking one up in navy and wearing them with the olive sports chino for a casual comfortable fit
I have a few of the cotton versions and one alpaca one. They are excellent quality and if you like a cropped type sweatshirt they are perfect. Mine get heavy wear in the fall and winter. The alpaca is more refined and sweater like and very warm.

I picked up one of the new cotton/cashmere polos in the shop and damn they’re nice. Buttondown collar is beautiful and fabric is super soft and cozy. Rest of the F/W arrivals were quite nice as well. The navy twill model 16 and olive model 3 were some personal faves.

I signed in to ask the same. I live here but am going to be out of town for this. Tragic timing.

I really like the collars on the ascot Chang polos, both long sleeve and the spread collar. Both look great on their own, or under a jacket.

I was looking at the cotton cashmere polos and decided against due to dry clean only…. I’ll stick with the cotton (and cotton/linen for summer) ones I can throw in the washer.

Hm. Good catch. I was eyeing this polo myself but similarly am not looking for that upkeep. I think it would probably be fine being handcleaned using Soak or similar, but that still is added effort. Maybe I'll stick to the pure cotton variety as well.

That's fair, I've been drying them flat, which is space-consuming. I'll probably hang them dry before folding them next time.

For what it’s worth, the guys at the shop told me that despite the tag the cotton/cashmere polos should be fine to gentle wash cold and air dry. Mine looks fine after the first wash but will update if things turn south.
Huh. I asked them the same question and they told me the opposite. Dry clean only, no machine wash
