i understand the small company thing but how is it that there are not better measurements? when i sell things on ebay/grailed, i can put measurements up...

It is maddening, especially for those that don't know the fit and for those that expect a fit and don't receive a consistent product sizing.

@summersteve Ok, I'll bite. Here are discrepancies as far as the new Telegraph campaign is concerned: 1. The Jack in Indigo Stripe Selvage, a shirt which was made last year in California, has both a product photo and a description stating that it's made in California, but the bottom image of the page states that it's made in Portugal. 2. The California in Navy Jacquard Dot, a shirt which was also made last year in California, has a description stating that it's made in the USA, but both the product photo and the bottom image states that it's made in Portugal. 3. The California in Navy Jacquard Dot has a ship window of next week, before the campaign is even halfway through completition. 4. The California in White Jacquard Dot doesn't have a shipping window. 5. None of the Telegraph jackets have measurements beyond chest. That's a big leap of faith to pledge a suit jacket where you won't even be sure of the fit in the areas which can't easily be altered. This was all from doing a cursory 2 minute overview through the entire collection. Again, this seems incredibly nitpicky, but I was a Marine and attention to detail is very important to me. Before any uniform or room inspection I took the effort to personally look at every Marine under my charge to make sure he was upholding the standards before any of my seniors or the inspecting officers got a chance to look at them. From a business standpoint, someone (who's actually getting paid by the company) should be sanity checking each product page (ideally before web launch) to remove any ambiguities in the purchasing process, because a customer may not want to question whether their purchase will fit them. Above all else, it reflects the pride that one has for one's company/product (which is something that anyone working for Taylor Stitch deservedly should have). Again, TS has the best fitting shirts I've ever worn so these criticisms are legitimately out of love for the brand, because like my Marines, I only criticize the things I truly care about.
Constructive criticism here and ditto on the bolded part. As an 80's era Army doggie I can empathize with the attention to detail. Guys in The Ranger Regiment back then used to get smoked for not having an ammo pouch tied down with a square knot and two half-hitches.

Happy Thursday!

@ub3rmike + @SouthNarc thank you for the constructive criticism, I meant it when I asked for your assistance.
As soon as I saw your message @ub3rmike we corrected those mistakes on the site.

In regards to size charts, @duff406 + @rusticchasm + @NorthCoast we are working on it.
Our web team is going to get those up today, apologies for the delay!

@Klemins you make a good point. Without new product launching every week it's less enticing to visit the site. This is something we've debated internally, and will likely continue to debate as these monthly collections continue. If a change is made I'll let Style Forum know.

I'm out tomorrow, but if you all need anything else please feel free to respond today. Otherwise I'll be back online on Monday.

Take care everyone.

I'm interested in getting the Rover Jacket, but, as I live in Canada, if it doesn't fit I'll have to pay for an exchange. Can anyone recommend a size? I'm 5 11" and 150lbs. Thanks.

I am 5 7" , 145 lbs. Size 36 is too tight for me. Size 38 is great fit with a a shirt and long sleeves underneath.

Any chance you go back to the weekly release of workshop items? This is the 2nd collection I simply have no interest in (unless I decide to get a pair of chinos, but I have plenty). I don't really have a reason to visit your site when not into the collection.

I echo this, much prefer the weekly release as well!

@kjart + @six-gun-pete + @Fueco I feel where you're coming from. You've supported us in the past and now it feels like we're discrediting your support. I assure you that is not the case. If you've read all of the above you will see that we truly value the community that exists around us. We are working with our 3PL to work out a better international shipping option. We really are a small company, although it may not appear that way on the outside. The $30 flat rate was seriously hurting us and impacting our ability to create new products in exciting fabrics. We feel strongly that our use of limited fabrics is something that sets us apart from others in the industry. If we are hurting our ability to do what makes us different then a change needs to be made. We hope to have better international shipping options soon, but at this time I do not have an ETA.

Thanks for taking the time to respond @summersteve . I definitely appreciate where you are coming from, I would've hoped that at least with the new monthly release model you could've grouped multiple items from the same collection together in the same shipment. The $60+ shipping cost for a tshirt and a button down suggests that they would be shipping individually - this seems to defeat the purpose of a monthly collection.

Any hope for more colorways in the camp pants to come along? Really enjoying my pair in the green herringbone and would be interested in some more.

I would too though I noticed that my canvas pair did not sew up as tapered as my green herringbone.

I prefer the fit of the green herringbone.

Anybody have pieces longer than three years? Curious about the longevity of the garments.
I own a chambray from maybe 4 years ago, it's well made and has the larger cuffs that we all gripe about on the newer stuff. My democratic jeans are nearing 3 years of constant wear and they repaired some holes for free.

Not sure if your asking about if buttons or threads fall off, I have never had a problem with any of that regarding TS clothing.

Boggles my mind that they don't offer more camp pants. The last round were backed really fast and quickly sold out.

I have some pants from about 3-4 years ago. Cotton canvas, don't remember the name. I wear them climbing regularly. Some side seems have failed (easy repair) and then I lost some of the fly buttons. Luckily I bought up when they were on sale. No tears in fabric despite heavy abuse but YMMV. Can't speak about the newer stuff

I had some duck canvas pants that were similar to camp pants but had full chino-style front pockets - wore them a ton for several years. Eventually the back pocket blew out and one or 2 belt loops tore, but they lasted awhile. Also have some shirts from awhile ago. I suspect the specs on some items have changed, especially w/ the workshop model (e.g., the pants I mentioned had more bells and whistles than current pants - lined waist, taped side seem, etc.), but still think their stuff is good quality.
