I just noticed that the E&Y letterhead kinda looks like the logo of In-N-Out

Anyone adjust their stop-loss triggers? My portfolio has been way up, but I do see it rapidly losing those gains if we have any "disruptions" later on tonight.

My time horizon is decades, so I'll just be adding at a discount if we get any drops.

Always be buying

If they get triggered, I will buy different stocks, or rebuy some at a discount. Definitely want to dump a couple.

The only time I have bought off-cycle recently was the Yen Carry scare a few months back but otherwise have just kept my standard buying.

Wondering if I should trim all this Palantir I bought at $9-12.
Depends - are you trading or investing? I started buying a little over 3 years ago @24 and averaged down to around 13 in a little over a year (the last I got was @6.92). After today I expect a small drop tomorrow but I'm not interested in paying tax on my gains before I need the cash, so I'll be holding on - probably for years.

I generally buy to invest. Was planning to long hold.
This one and VNO bought around $12 just feel very frothy atm.

Sadly I have only a small holding bought @ ~24. But am holding. Karp might...might be one of those guys you just don't bet against.

These things can change quickly but stock futures up strongly at this hour.

I was contemplating selling covered calls last week on it at $50, but we blew past that quickly lol.

How do you prefer trousers to be finished?

  • Plain hem

  • Cuffed (1.5 inches or less)

  • Cuffed (more than 1.5 inches)

  • No preference, as long as the proportions work
