That's one of my favourite ever pictures here, @ghdvfddzgzdzg, not just for the set-up but the light, and along with that gorgeous burgundy Camoshita number that @conceptual 4est is wearing up above, two of my favourite corduroy numbers ever. If we're talking corduroy suits, we really can't omit @NickPollica's just pre-18East era, Eidos... I searched for this set-up for two or three years after I first saw it, and finally I got lucky. Eidos in indigo cord:

Have you tried Eidos Augusta in person? Got to say for those kind of stuff I prefer EG way over Eidos Augusta, the Augusta stuff’s proportion always feel somewhat off (especially if you ever need to button them)

In the end of the day I guess the “easier” choice has always been Camoshita for me, but I guess it’s usually only a step to two off from say Boglioli, Eleventry etc

Curious for those that have done it, or have pics...

But any good shots of a full Engineered Garments suit? Debating one of those sets for the summer. Maybe the seersucker for something fun, without all the formality of a seersucker rig that usually goes with it?

Really digging the inclusion of more workwear/Engineered Garments style setups/suits. When you go this route, do you guys get them actually tailored or do you just roll with off-the-rack? And if tailored, is it straightforward to tell your tailor not to try and make it look too trad?

My first thought is to roll with this as is OTR.

The brand 18east has a few setups that really lean more on the street casual side of things. Look super wearable.

Would not tailor EG. Maybe sleeve length or inseam if too long but I wouldn’t take in chest or taper pants etc.

I have a couple Drake's Games suits (one in a ripstop cotton and one in a cotton/linen blend) that I just roll up the pants since they are slightly too long. Sometimes I'll cuff the sleeve too, but haven't once planned on taking them to a tailor to get the properly hemmed or shortened.

@Epaulet sashiko suit - Doyle jacket and easy pants with linen shirt. Couple of years back, would wear different footwear now.

off the rack. it's supposed to be boxy and should not look fussy otherwise. getting just enough shirt showing at the wrist or whatever is not part of the game here. i'd maybe consider messing w sleeve length if it was super long or something but they're fine off the rack on me.

@espen see previous page in this thread for my EG suit pic
