Maybe this is the right thread for this?

I bought these two summer-weight suits recently, then decided to mix them up ...
Does this work? (obviously trousers need shortening but haven't made up my mind about keeping them yet!)

Linen and fresco are very different fabrics. Fresco usually more tailored/formal (smoother, much less wrinkling), linen inherently more casual. What is the look you’re going for?
you're right. pretty broad question. I would say I am going for a more tailored look. A bit swanky looking maybe. So if its linen would have to be a blend I believe
heres a CDG linen suit I found that fits the bill

If they’re truly linen it’s going to looks pretty winkle around sleeve elbow in about no time. Mohair would be better, unless your linen is like wool/silk/linen or poly blend
