New SuFu pissed me off so much I needed a new fashunz forum to procrastinate on, so I registered here. This place is nice, comfy, easy to browse and kind of reminds me of 3.0.

Welcome, the people here don't really bite, it's more conservative over here, which means less gimp talk about smashing chicks and copping the latest crazy expensive rick owens or raf simons gear.

sufu is really unreadable at this point, i tried to view it 2x today, but i quickly hit the exit button within 30 seconds...
i think i am done browsing there until it looks much better, and isn't so buggy

Don't worry. None of the forums are showing up anymore anyway.

This is the second site migration in a week that I've seen get absolutely slaughtered. The other one was even bigger then sufu.

You should have seen the ***** I smashed last night, ******* double dd's, but couldn't have been more then 130 lbs.

The site was bigger, or it was a bigger disaster?

It's hard to imagine a bigger disaster than having ALL your content disappear.

Site is larger but has a way more fucked up situation. They had all the content disappear but have fixed most of the links and are slowly working to rebuild everything. Their problem was that they were moving from zeroforum software to vbulletin and trying to do a complete migration of a very large site while keeping everything looking as similar as possible. People were very against it.

Problem was people were given very little notice and IM's were lost etc. Zeroforum was used on the site since 2000 and written by the old founder. It was very much a part of the site. The switch was made mostly to satisfy Internet Brands and to avoid a lawsuit as the zeroforum software and the website seem to have been stolen. Guy who wrote all the code is suing to try and get back what seems to be his property or at least half of the profits since it's been sold to Internet Brands for what's probably well into the 7 figures.
