I've been getting many 400 errors recently when browsing on my mac on chrome. My browser and OS are up to date.

This doesn't happen to me on other browsers. Any ideas?

Generally when this happens it means your browser's cookie for the site is corrupted. If you go into your chrome settings and delete the cookie specific to Styleforum, it should fix the issue.

@admin this ad placement is incredibly misleading at the login screen

I hate to say it, but SF has become unusable for me on mobile (iOS). Pages load slowly, then refresh a few minutes later only to erase anything I’ve written before posting. And, the ads have rendered many of the pages truly unreadable.

Not tech support here, but just curious.
I've seen other people complain about the same thing.
Are you on Android? Because on my iPhone, the site operates nearly identical to the non-mobile version on my laptop.
Loads fine, no ads etc.

I’m on iPhone and have used multiple browsers. Same experience on each.

Here’s another thing that’s incredibly annoying. I try to click on the alert about you quoting my post and it pops up a new tab for the ad that’s underneath.

Small question - if you then refresh, does your draft come back? Yeah, we've had issues with some members and iOS/Chrome. Chrome being so heavy is really not helping us address the problem adequately.

Usually, none of my draft is there. Sometimes, some of my draft reappears. In Safari, the ads jump around so much that the pages are impossible to read and then I get a page load error.

If you're on Android, similar can be achieved by downloading Opera.

And if you're on a microwave, download some Pop-Tarts. Yum.

Is it possible to get a single notification for a watched thread? I don't need hundreds of alerts for every response, just the oldest so can I can jump to it and read the thread in chronological order.

How do you prefer trousers to be finished?

  • Plain hem

  • Cuffed (1.5 inches or less)

  • Cuffed (more than 1.5 inches)

  • No preference, as long as the proportions work
