The left alignment button is actually a drop down menu. Click on it, and you'll see that you can have it left, right, or center justified.

Cheers,

Fok.
Yes, it works...now. When I was trying to center my sig before that alignment icon was not on the formatting bar in the edit signature window. Five times I went into that window looking for a way to center my sig. The alignment icon was not there. Now it is.

Thank you.

Well, in the signature section of preferences, there is no alignment icon on the formatting bar. So, how do you format for center (as in your own sig)? I tried
Code:
[center][/center]
. And as I mentioned it looks good on preview but it doesn't save or translate to actual posts.

While I'm at it, there is no preview option for actual posts. I miss that. I wanted to see how using "insert>code" looked in this post and couldn't. All I could do was just "Post Reply" to see.

There is a preview option for posts. Before you hit post, click on more options, it will direct you to the option.

Ah.. that explains things.
It will work. It doesn't work nearly at all right now because we have not yet rebuilt the search index. We will do that late tonight, after the server has been reconfigured to make it faster, and when most people are sleeping, so that we don't slow down the site.

This would be something I for one would like to be moved out to just a button like it used to be if possible. I used the preview all the time on both desktop and mobile versions before and thought they were extremely helpful.

edit: just a note, thanks to all involved in the process. Things seems to be coming around quickly. I noticed the private messages are cleared out and the alerts button is much more responsive. Patience is key but so is an owner who is putting in the hours and listening to us.

Thanks, appreciate it. Last week, to get this very large, very complex forum imported from a very difficult platform to this one, and to make sure that things worked, we were working, literally, around the clock. One group went to sleep, the next woke up, and so on, for 4 days.

There were some things beyond our control - our former partners did not give us a full set of images, most importantly - so those things we are trying to get fixed ASAP, but we were not going to delay the launch based on someone else's timetable. The systems admin and I have worked all weekend as well.

I know that some of you have done this type of thing before, and know the complexity of just the technical aspects. It was a non-trivial feat to get to where we are now.

So, thanks again.

Cheers,

Fok.

Curious...what is the rationale behind the "Users Who Have Read This Thread" list? Seems like that's gonna get big and unwieldy in a hurry...unless it refreshes every 24 hrs or so.

To me it just seems like it's a real estate hog. IMO...

Honestl, I don't know. It's one of those default settings on Xenforo. It will be one of those things that we take out when we revisit the style sheet.

Is it possible to add tags after you've initially posted a listing? Just editing doesn't show the tag field.

Right under your thread title, right under your title, on the right hand side of the existing tags, there should be a button to "edit"

Couple things -

1. Before when you hovered over a members name, you had the option to PM right from there in a new window and when you closed it, you picked up right where you left off. Now you have to click into the profile and you "lose your place" and have to go back. Is there an easier way Im missing?

2. Saw all my PM's get marked read - god bless you and thanks!

3. Any luck with getting the custom/affiliate titles back?

How do you prefer trousers to be finished?

  • Plain hem

  • Cuffed (1.5 inches or less)

  • Cuffed (more than 1.5 inches)

  • No preference, as long as the proportions work
