Yeah, don't know why I listened to the size down advice even though I already had a pair.

If anyone's looking for a 42.5 grey Chelsea, I'll let them go for cheap. PM me.

Hi guys
I haven’t been on in a long while as I got my cropped jodhpurs early on and that’s all I have needed really so haven’t checked back until now. Seems some new models may be worth investing in though at some point. I have worn the heck out of my pair though and really haven’t been careful with them at all. I have worn them to work and out and about in most weathers except snow but that could come soon. They have held up superbly and I have had countless compliments from friends, chicas and staff in all sorts of clothes stores from the Kooples and diesel to vans and other regular high street stores. People seem to really appreciate the style of these shoes and they have gone down a treat. Well worth the investment and a true staple to my closet. For any of you wondering I tend to wear them with I generally rock a pair of skinny jeans in black, indigo or lightwash blue then a t shirt with shirt thrown over and in the colder months I sling a decent fitting thick leather black biker over the top.

Just spoke to Lian and he told me that he has a new slimmer last that is being used. All batches produced after the Sept. 2nd batch will have the new last. These are pictures that he sent me, the first picture is a comparison between the old last and the new last. I personally think the new last looks amazing.

The toppy has to be applied by a cobbler, they will need to shave down some of the stacked leather sole and apply it. It is supposed to protect the leather sole from degrading too fast and so you don't have to resole the shoe as often.

Great explanation , one last thing should i size up to a 42.5 or 43 ? since its a pain to even get my foot in a 42 ? and the bottom of my foot hurt after a while .

The new last looks great. Looking at the black calf western; should I go with harness or nah?

I think the classic western is more timeless, the harness is cool right now, but may not be in a year or two. So I really matters on how long you plan on keeping the shoes.
