Got it.
I didn't know it was illegal to not pay customs fees if you weren't charged.

"If the goods are cleared informally, the Entry Summary CBP Form 7501, bond and identification number are not required. Goods are usually cleared informally when they are for personal use, under $2000 in value, and are not in commercial quantities. However, because there are no guarantees that an entry will be cleared informally, brokers find it helpful to have the ultimate importer's identification number just in case.

Because many foreign merchants are aware that CBP requires an identification number for the ultimate importer for formal entries, they will often request the purchaser's social security number to include on export documents that the broker will subsequently rely on to prepare the CBP entry."

I didn't read the whole thing, but based on this paragraph, a chance you parcel get cleared informally, and they don't charge you. I think it does not mean illegal. If a store declare a very low value of the item and says it's a gift. I think they are violating the law. Once the package get cleared, no one cares.

Love that coat. Would have picked it up from Project no 8 but didn't want to gamble on the size. Is it exterior black or navy?

No black. It's charcoal grey with some navy hues on the front panels, navy with charcoal hues on the sleeves and back. It's pretty incredible and subtle in person

Would be a Christmas present to myself :D.

Damn, that makes me regret not getting it. I was almost sure it was navy.

I think South Willard has it.

Yea SW has the scarf. I've only seen that cardigan from asian stockists, though, and they don't answer emails (not mine at least).
