Dainite soles are nice and practical for certain weahter, but with the norwegian welt I went for the double leather sole. Did you post pics of yours yet? I'd love to see how it looks.

I understand, I knew the Dainite sole might not be a popular choice, but then again it works for me. Yep, posted pictures earlier but more than happy to post again. I certainly wasn't the first here either, I think Jerry Browne was and in fact it might have been his by design.

MoosicPa, you copied another member's MTO pair and the only detail changed was soles?


I'm not sure who copied who, as this is a standard MTO model offered through Leathersoul. I was looking for a cigar shell Alden model, and this was suggested as an alternative as they weren't sure when Alden would be available.

FYI, it was not a standard model for SC until PC made his order.

But you are right, that shoe style isn't anything special but common place amongst different makers...
