Just to follow up on our conversation, yesterday I visited The Hand and met Dennis in person.
I felt very welcoming and he helped me hone in the correct last and size. I felt he really listened to my concerns regarding fit. We came to the conclusion that the standard lasts from STC worked the best (compared to EG) for me and I didn't need a personal last. Mto with some small modifications would work perfectly. So I ordered a dark brown penny loafer on the 717 style last, with ton-sur-ton apron stitching. 8mm sole. Really looking forward to it!

Did they come in? We want to see.

My favorite thing about this thread is the individual nature of these posts and how they represent unique opinions about how different styles have been posted and liked. However, I received my 4th pair of St. C's today, the third on my personal last, and I don't remember what I've posted before, so this post is going to be a celebration of my collection of Crispin's and the various ways they can be styled.

First up are my 798s that arrived in the mail these days. These were made up on my personal last modeled on the chiseled last. I have yet to wear them because they arrived today

Next is my model 600 seamless wholecuts, which were the first pair made on my personal last:
