Was there just a $50 off suits at S&M? I've been holding out for a sale of some sort to cash in on a few suits, but starting to think I missed it.

It's over now but I believe that was just for single suits, i.e. you could get a single suit for the bundle price without having to buy more than one... bundle pricing should still be in effect if you want multiple

Gents, we need to clear out some shirt inventory so we're running a pretty ridiculous sale. Save an additional $10/shirt when you purchase 4 or more regular priced dress shirts.

This drops white labels shirts to $35 CAD ($27 USD) and Black Label shirts to $45 CAD ($35 USD).

This is at or less than CT Shirts or TM Lewin, and you are getting superior fabrics, construction, buttons, pattern matching, collars.

This is a big shirt promo and we think a lot of new customers may be interested, as we asked before, if you can share this deal on other channels, and PM the link we'll drop some credit into your account for the help!

Thanks guys.

I just ordered 8 shirts and a pair of the moleskins (I really hope I got my sizing right!). Under $300 shipped to the US.

Now I'll wait on a sport coat sale later this month :)

Does a size 14.5 slim shirt fit neck at exactly 14.5? I have a close to 15 neck but would fit other measurements of a 14.5.

Also, anyone experienced any shrinkage of the OBDC shirts?

Yes the OCBD's shrink. In my case, they shrank and fit me perfectly, so i'm not complaining, but they will shrink a bit.

How would the moleskin trousers, particularly the dark colours, wear in terms of fading? I know some dark cotton trousers are prone to fade especially on the edges.
Also, what is the feel of moleskin? I picture it as almost slick.

The shirts are cut with 3/8" extra in the collar. They shrink the standard 2-3%. Minimize shrinking with cold water and hang to dry. The oxford if you wear right after wash/dry may feel snug, but the fibers will loosen up after about half hour of wearing.

It's corduroy without the wales. Wears, preforms and feels about the same.

Are the OCBDs cut to allow this shrinkage compared to other shirts?

I recalled you said you're rolling out sleeve length option for RTW shirts? Any update on that?

Shirts are all cut to spec (plus a bit of adjustments, but not particularly for oxfords) and they shrink differently depending on the fabric. Personally, I've had a few problems with linen/cotton and chambray, but I don't find S&M's oxfords to be particularly prone to shrinkage.

In my experience with Oxford cloth, ironing it with steam or mist helps loosen the fibers, too. I didn't iron my OCBDs (or most of my shirts, for that matter) for like 6 years, and just started ironing them again. It makes a difference in oxford cloth especially.
