Does anyone have their Brown & Green Guncheck Wool Harrington jacket? How is the quality and does it fit true to size?

I don't have a Harrington, but I have a bomber in this fabric and it is my favorite casual jacket. Quality is what you'd expect from Spier at this price point - fabric from Moon is great, on everything else they cut corners. My biggest issue is that horn buttons are not sewed with a reinforcement on the back, so they are quite wonky. It is still really good for the price

Which ones do you have from Spier? Any comments on quality, lasts, sizing? Hard to find up to date info on it.
I have the espadrille which I don't see up there anymore, oxford, loafers, and the woven loafer. My experience on sizing is similar to most gyw footwear, 1/2 down from brannock or tts. I went tts on the woven loafers and am happy. Shoulda went up 1/2 on the espadrille. Depends on how you like em to.fit. Not as narrow as Meermin, more similar to Thursday or Rancourt, less volume/more narrow toebox than Grant Stone in general.
I think they are good value especially when on sale. Not fully leather or anything but nice construction, leather, and lasts overall imo.

Edit: mine are all older versions/models except for the woven loafer

How do you prefer trousers to be finished?

  • Plain hem

  • Cuffed (1.5 inches or less)

  • Cuffed (more than 1.5 inches)

  • No preference, as long as the proportions work
