Is Tailored Fit new? Have they published a size chart yet?

Has anyone tried the t shirts? How are they and how do they compare to others in this price point you like?

Got it. I had a thought of taking an adjustably larger jacket to a tailor, having him pin it and take notes from there. But then again, my sanity comes into question from time to time.
I wanted to offer up an observation: A couple of years ago I was wearing 42R in SM. They fit well, but quite trim. I still have a camel Wool/Cashmere Di Pray in this size that I love. I wore it the other day. But it fits very "close."

Today, I wear 44R. Same weight and chest size. What I've discovered is that one is rarely a single size in sportcoats. The 44 has a slightly extended shoulder, more drape in the chest and midsection, and most importantly, it is slightly but noticeably longer.

For me, this creates a more classic and elegant silhouette than a very close fitting jacket.

Agreed! I wear 44L for a closer fit, and 46 for a more drapey fit (or to accommodate a thin cardigan or vest).

I tried the first run of the 2 ply cotton T shirts they released earlier this year. The collars on 2 of the 3 I ordered became warped/"bacon collar" after only 1 or 2 washes. I also found them to be too long (I'm 6'2"). Overall I'd say the Uniqlo supima are better value at the same price point.

Has anyone purchased one of the Large Seed Stitch Crewneck sweaters? I'm curious how the slight rollneck actually looks in person so I'd definitely appreciate if someone could post a fit pic. Thanks!

Random question but does anyone know if their outerwear that is wool like the parkas comes with a garment bag or not?

I just received a Navy Herringbone as well as a Chocolate hopsack, both in the same size [Emerald Neo cut] & they fit differently. I've had this happen from other brands also, with other items. Sizes/fits varying across colors. Mind bottling.

How do you prefer trousers to be finished?

  • Plain hem

  • Cuffed (1.5 inches or less)

  • Cuffed (more than 1.5 inches)

  • No preference, as long as the proportions work
