Thank youWith these (and my other S&M trousers - a good few pairs) the waist measurement was exactly as indicated in the sizing chart on the website...so 39.5".

They look great. I don't have any EGs in redwood but I think I need to change that.Yes! EG Dovers in Antique Redwood.
What made you size up with the tux? Interestingly, I got the full canvas black tux from last year in my usual contemporary 38L and the shoulders fit a bit narrow. Normally, not an issue with the Neo cuts but with the padded shoulder, the divot is a bit more noticeable than I would like. I'm on the fence about ordering this same VBC tux but in a 40 slim. Many thanks. Neo is 38L contemporary. Tuxedo is 40L contemporary.
Go to the custom shirt area and then to the options tab. You can see all the collars, band heights, point lengths, and spread.Anyone know where I can get more specs about the collars than collar point length and collar band height?
I'm trying to figure out which of the S&P collars would most closely match a collar I have from another maker that has 3" points with a 5" spread between them.
i don't know for sure, but it can be removed by a tailor perhaps?Just a little venting...I really dislike the top patch pocket that every DB SC I want to buy comes with. I could do without them on any SC.

I sized up because of the shoulder construction and the cut of the tuxedo. I typically wear a 38L in the Neo cut but since the tuxedo has a lightly padded shoulder, I hypothesized that I might need a different size for it to fit my shoulders well and drape properly. It also being unvented informed my decision to size up, as unvented suit coats tend to fit slimmer through the skirt and over the hips, so I wanted to give myself some room in that area without it pulling or being constricting to maintain a flattering silhouette. I ordered both the 38L cont and 40L cont to compare before ultimately deciding on the 40L cont. What made you size up with the tux? This is super helpful! I'm also a 38L contempt so was thinking about sizing up to 40S but may take the plunge on the 40cont.I sized up because of the shoulder construction/expression and the cut of the tuxedo.
