Thanks, sir. How does it wear compared to hopsack or fresco? More casual? More open weave/breathable?
S&M has made jackets with so many variations of hopsack that it’s hard to generalize but I find the Mocklino between hopsack and fresco on the formality scale. Closer to hopsack. I actually don’t like fresco for odd jackets but the Mocklino works well. I find it slightly stiffer and more durable than many hopsacks in a good way. Quite open weave.

It looks like the new duffle coats fit fairly large. Anyone receive theirs and can comment on sizing?

Does anyone know if the cable knit sweaters fit the same as the Regular Merino Sweaters? For example, if I wear L in the Reg Merino ones, should I get the exact same size L for the cableknits?
If you want a looser, relaxed fit then yes same size. Otherwise size down one. The weight of the wool doesn’t make it as form fitting and a bit bigger feeling

For last couple of years, the cable crews fit TTS, while the regular merino crews tended to fit a bit more slim. Is that still the case with this year's? probably but don't know

Looking for feedback on the fit of this sport coat. This is the Abraham moon brown houndstooth in Neo cut that was released FW ’20. It’s the drapiest sport coat I own, and because of this, it’s taking me a while to really embrace it. In certain areas, it feels baggy, and other times I feel it’s too long, and the proportions/balance off. This all could be in my head, but maybe it’s projecting a different kind of silhouette, to which I need to adjust. Maybe it’s the cut of the fabric? I’m wearing a 38L contemporary Neo cut in this sport coat.

I think the above is right. With the disclaimer that hopsacks can vary greatly, I’d say it aligns more closely to what you would consider “hopsack” than fresco. Closest to a typical Basketweave, in my opinion. Unsure if it’s ACTUALLY more breathable than fresco, but to me it feels like it perhaps a bit more. It’s also fantastic at shaking out wrinkles. I’ve worn the hell out of that jacket, and it looks minimally (if at all) different than it did 4+ years ago.

First drops of rain today, I couldn't help myself and had to put on the some fall outfit, though temps didn't really call for it:
S&M deep v-neck sweater, cooper collar shirt, and quest trousers.

The khaki trench is super nice but I think I’ll be returning it. Wore it and it felt too long and the silhouette didn’t look right on my body. Great piece, but maybe I’ll wait til SM does a 3/4 one, that’s probably more my style.

I highly recommend the polarized aviators tho. They look great, are good quality, and are very comfortable.

Is it typically more difficult to urinate with high rise trousers? I’ve found that with high rise trousers, the zipper is above my man parts. Not sure if I am wearing the trousers too high or if this is just the price to pay for that high rise trouser swag.

can’t help you. The zipper hole is never big enough. I have to unbutton the whole show.

Yes it does actually. Very annoying that I have to unbutton the whole thing.
