Good news! Received my med sky blue twill shirt today in 17.5x36 and it looks good to go.

Hopefully, hanging to dry inside won’t cause any shrinkage. It seems to be a good pairing with the 46 contemporary jacket. I need more room in the upper arms in the jacket, but the shirt sleeve is plentiful. When I get some tailoring done I will post something.

I’m on the rebound from a life at B2. The c2 collar was a hit with my wife vs. the tennis collars. “Ok, boomer!” ;) not quite- 53 yo. I’m very loyal/lazy once I find a fit and store I like, but needed a modern cut / make over. Not ready for Neo cut 3r2 yet, but the two-button patch SC is a nice look.

Would a 2-button patch on all 3 pockets look ok or no go unless 3r2?

What's going on w/ the back part of the adjuster fabric?? Little bit more character than I would like. It's great fabric though, so I might get the pair in fawn nonetheless.

Perhaps this is one of the "customizations" they mention in the notes that wont go to production? best to confirm since they appear on all three colourways.

Speaking of the OG Solaro…have a feeling I’ll get mad FOMO whenever I see the Drago one being worn, but the combo of already having one and patch pockets were justtttttttt enough to stay my hand.

I'd love to see pictures of those blackwatch tartan jackets if either of you are so inclined.
Will do next week!

I have a couple of triple patch, one on a neo jacket, the other on a 2-button. Both work. Its a style detail that may be a little easier to accommodate on a 2 button, as the neo lapel is wider than the 2 button and might lay over a corner of the patch breast pocket on the neo. I'm a 44L for reference.

Wondering if I should buy the slim cut of a new suit in my size have it altered closer to Contemporary cut. Usually buy the Neo suits in contemporary. Any thoughts on that idea?

I would go contemporary and alter smaller. I just feel it’s always better this way unless you’ve experienced not great results then maybe slim to bigger isn’t worth it and you go MTM

I know we're still in summer but I'm thinking about selling my navy polo coat, the first season version in size 38.

My style is casual now so I don't think I want to have it sitting in my closet with no real use.

See below. (it’s a hot summer day here today so I’m wearing a pink polo, obviously not an appropriate pairing for the jacket. LOL)

Photo in shade with exposure set on the jacket. This photo shows the plaid well, But the fabric is so dark it causes the camera to blow out the highlights on the pink polo

wilcthree & James1051, you two sold me on the jacket ?! There actually isn't much info on the fabric composition but I went ahead. Is it 100% wool?
