So is the consensus that the donegal tweed fits tighter? I usually wear 36S slim in their sportscoat, should I opt for the contemporary?

Donegal = move from slim to contemp
Gun check = up one size
everything else = normal size

I think it is pretty much everywhere which is why it's recommended to size up.

Have the same issue with Safari, also throwing a bunch of CSS warnings in the console. Chrome works fine, so does FF

It's just a much thicker fabric vs regular worsted stuff.

FWIW I was able to stick to my normal 40 slim on the donegal. It fits a bit more snug than others but nothing crazy. I tried a 40 contemp as well and it fit the same in the shoulders and chest. I stuck with slim so I didn’t have to take in the waist.

If you’re taking in the waist as is on a slim I say stick to the same size for the donegal.

The gun check I went up to 42 contemp, but only because I couldn’t get a 42 slim. It’s very thick and fits very small.

Thanks for the info. Unfortunately, I snooze I lose. No more size 36 in contemporary. Ordered in 36S slim and hope for the best! Or I could lose wome weight haha!
