What color trousers do you guys think would pair best with b/w houndstooth? Navy?

These are the new VBC flannels. We kept them simple this year. No strange colours, just staples. The navy, as requested, just a hair on the brighter side of a true, deep navy.

I saw the Midnight Navy Tuxedo in the store the other day and it looks so good. The jacket's collar is not satin, which gives it a contemporary look, and the lapels size/gorge height is in perfect harmony. Also, for those who are curious, if I recalled correctly the trousers do not have a satin stripe on the side, which I personally prefer. Oh and of course side tabs, because a belts with a tuxedo should always be a no no.

Honestly I am not sure what to pair it with. I could probably see it with the donegal or gun check (thinking of the ones I have on the way). The more I look at the flannels I think maybe the light grey would be a better second color choice. But who am I kidding, my wallet is spent for now with the purchase of 3 new jackets today lol.

It's the exact same cloth. you can make a suit from it.
