Thinking of ordering custom slub cotton blue shirt. I notice that the RTW one offered is in a spread collar. That was not my first thought for this shirt, but I do find it interesting. ANyone own that shirt that can share a pic or opinion on it vs a button down style collar for it? I will honestly probably wear it without a tie and +/- a sportcoat. Thanks!

Really love the way this suit is cut, and how soft and comfortable this fabric is.

Yes, sir. I've had their grenadines, but this was my first madder. Big fan so far.

Too bad most of their ancient madders are sold out with no restocks. Plus, I'd love them to be 3.5" instead, because I dwarf 3.25" ties.

*Edit: still a very nice tie!

These suits are conservative enough not to be too dandy and dandy enough not to be boring. I think it would be good for an interview. An employer wouldn't say "he is perfect for the position but the lapel width of his suit seems a little large" unless he is a menswear enthusiast then you might score some points.

Hah! That was pretty much my thinking as well.

The dress in my workplace is so casual that most folks are just going to see a suit of any kind and assume it's very formal unless it has some kind of strange pattern or something.

Good luck at the interview!

S&M Polos on Massdrop....

Got excited thinking it was new ones. Man those are great polos though, time and time again washed and dried and they have held up great. Just some minimal fading of the collar on the navy, which just looks awesome on it.

Only ribbed collars though. I really wanted to try a shirt collar version.

Edit. The primary pictures are ribbed collar, but all the secondary pics are shirt collar. At checkout there is only an option for ribbed collar. I'm assuming it's ribbed collar based on the checkout options, but they should really change the pics if that is the case.

Anyone have an opinion about the collars? I'm trying to decide which one. I already have several non S&M (branded) polos with ribbed collars so I'm thinking the shirt collar version. Are they suitable to wear under a casual sportcoat?

Oh yeah that's too bad, they certainly have that messed up if you can't choose between the two styles.

The shirt collar is great, I have not tried it under a jacket as I only just got one but I could snap a quick pic tonight with a white polo under the brown jacket a grabbed to give you an idea.
