hey guys! just a heads up. I think. this morning unpacked my 2 t-shirts and a polo. all XL. last year's cotton silk polo XL fit me great. this year's cotton and cotton silk knitted t-shirts are really blousy around chest but I love the fit. cotton linen polo shirt, also XL, on the other hand... feels like 2 sizes too small, completely skinny fit. according to sizing table chest difference is 0.7". it's way more. according to spier, its meant to be slimmer (which is never mentioned on webpage), and... "tolerances"....

polo is essentially unwearable.

pardon the terrible picture quality. was really rushing before work.

after spier "tolerances" and sizing table being different to actual fit... you think I have a chance of a free return from London? or should I go PayPal return way?
In this case... it's hard to tolerate Spier's sizing tolerance.

I ordered a few pairs of the paper chinos as I like the idea of a lighter-weight chino for summer wear. They are extremely thin with zero drape. I’m sure they wear cool, but they would be a rumpled mess within 5 minutes.

You’re better off with linen or linen/cotton.

Hello all. Would anyone happen to have a pair of high rise chinos in 36 waist contemporary fit that they could measure the width of the thigh at the crotch? I tried emailing Spier and they weren’t helpful. I have fairly muscular legs so I want to see if they’ll fit compared to existing pants. Thanks!

managed to measure today cotton linen XL polo... I think it's first time when I've seen XL having 40" chest... sent this to spier. if they will refuse exchange, on to PayPal it goes...

they already put a shipping up from 25$ to 40$. I'm definetly not paying 80$ for round shipping on a 70$ item that's near 6" off a sizing chart...

I guess I'm an outlier but I have all the linen/cotton sweater polos in size S (I'm a 38R in SCs) and they fit just fine. There's also no noticeable difference between these and the all cotton sweater polos I have.
