Is there anywhere I can get back rise measurements for S&M trousers? The only pair of trousers I've bought from S&M were chinos and they definitely did not suit me from a fit standpoint, but I'm wondering if the wool dress trousers might be cut differently. I'm looking at the light grey Vitale Barberis flannels specifically but I'll take whatever I can get.

I typically wear 34 Slim OTR dress trousers, and tried the 34 Slim casual chinos a year ago and found the back rise was too high and ended up giving them away. Just my two cents.

The chinos I bought (35 contemporary) had a back rise that was 2" shorter than the (well-fitting) pair of dress pants I compared them to (not Spier). I'm hoping the back rise on the dress trousers is longer, but IDK.

Had my brother measure the back rise of his chinos. From the crotch seam to the top of the back, chinos were 16" and dress trousers were 17". Both 34 slim OTR, only thing I had done was a hem so that shouldn't have affected these measurements.

Anyone else having sizing issues?

The last two blazers I’ve ordered from them have fit wildly differently to my other Neapolitan blazers in the exact same size.

I hope it’s just bad luck rather than a trend, as I’m used to knowing my size here and buying with confidence.

I am. The emerald tweed and the blue and brown cerruti fit are drastically different. It was bad enough that I almost reached out to customer support. I find myself questioning whether I’ll purchase any “final sale”suits/SCs again.

Maybe not the right type of post, but since I know there’s more eyes and interest here, I’ve got two 40R/34 contemporary travel suits by Zignone for sale in the BST thread. Fabric is awesome, just not loving the fit on me. Sleeves and pants have been shortened but suit hasn’t been worn besides in the house for fit test. My loss will be someone’s gain for sure!

which two are you referring to? I had to send back the emerald green linen suit because the fit way small compared to many others.

There is clearly a trend of bad QC from this past year. It’s very discouraging and has me questioning future purchases.

can you share which models of blazers have the inconsistent sizing? are they smaller or bigger than your other ones?

I ordered two tweed blazers: Moon gun club and Angelico emerald.

The gun club fits a lot closer to the body, the emerald tweed feels almost baggy by comparison.

I thought it was just because of the much heavier cloth of the Moon tweed, but now I think I will measure.

I went through two of the fox bros SC before I received one that fit normal.

I had the same experience with my fox bros compared the emerald. Had to go through 2 of the fox bros jacket due to Q/C though.

Got the green seersucker suit - trousers fit same as always (excellent) but the blazer is seriously tight. Like, bought it from Suitsupply and then put on another 10lbs tight.

To echo my earlier comment, my green seersucker trousers were huge in every respect, compared to others from previous purchases.

Really hoping they attempt something similar this year. The suit was beautiful but I avoided based on the reviews... I say this as I’ve yet to wear my traditional anywhere
