As linen wrinkles a bit, which takes up a bit of space, I find that linen shirts are nice a touch looser.
Do you think I should size up to accomplish that.

I'm basically trying to get a fit that's closer to your slim oxfords (with a box pleat) when compared to your regular slims.

Linen fabric on its own, because of the loose weave, will open up and drape looser naturally. I suggest to stick with your regular size.

Received my 3 polo shirts in the mail today, along with a pair of the sale khakis.

First impressions on the polos:
The fit is quite good, although I've come to learn that it's worth waiting until after a wash or two before really commenting. Brand new, out of the bag they are quite slim, but not tight. I do hope that the neck and shoulder width tighten up a bit after a wash, but not a problem as they are. Sleeve length is great, not too long nor too short. At first I thought the shirt length was too long, until I realized that with the dressier shirt collar I may be wearing these tucked in, in which case the length is great.
The material feels substantial and high quality. I was a bit disappointed at first that the buttons were resin and not shell, however they do look really nice.
The collar is great. In the photos I thought it looked a bit small, but in real life it's a good size. With three buttons, I will likely wear these with the first two unbuttoned.
I wasn't completely sure about my color choices, but I think I chose wisely, with the navy being good for all mid to light colored pants, the white being a bit more formal and refined (perhaps a good look under a navy casual sport coat) and I think the light grey will get a lot of use with dark denim.

Finally a comment on the khakis. The fit is very slim, a bit more casual than I would wear at my office, but otherwise they fit me perfectly! I'm glad I read the size chart, though and went with a 33 instead of my usual size 32. The material is super light weight. They were a good buy at $15. Will get a lot of summer use, probably with the navy polo.

I just copped the white and light blue linen shirts and the purple bengal stripe full spread shirt. I'm headed to Key West on Sunday. I doubt they'll get here by then, but I look forward to wearing them when I get back to the city. I really dislike the color of the Indigo linen shirt. I'm indifferent about the Mauve, but leaning toward disliking. I would have loved a pink or yellow linen shirts. Also, when I get back I'd like to get a pair of custom linen shirts in white and blue with a full spread collar. Then I'll be set for the summer.

How can you not love mauve? One of the best colors for our skin complexion. I always get compliments when I wear purple, mauve etc.

I plan on wearing the shirts with a tie occasionally. That purple is too bold in my opinion. I wouldn't have minded a paler purple though.

At the moment I'm considering the white and indigo linen shirts. The white is good when you want to express an image of "yeah...I'm on vacation!" The indigo, to me, gives off a chambray vibe, which I like. The light blue would be my first pick if I didn't already own a light blue/white stripe linen shirt. I don't mind the mauve, but it just doesn't fit into my current style. However, the more I handle linen shirts, the less I'm liking them for some reason, even though I somehow really like the "idea" of them. I can't see a pure linen shirt being worn with a tie to good effect. At best, a linen/cotton blend.

Flvinny521- I usually wear a 15.5/35 shirt and 32 trouser. I bought the polos in M. I am 6'2".

These are very slubby and therefore much more on the casual side in terms of linen cloth. These are 60Lx60L yarn. More dress/refined linen is made from 80L or higher.

The indigo and mauve are looking a bit saturated on my phone. I'll have a look at them again on my work monitor in the morning. But they are excellent colours. The indigo is indeed very much like a chambray vibe.

I really like them for non jacketed looks. Even if I'm wearing linen trousers and a linen jacket I'll still go for an OCBD. If I'm chilling in chinos I'll grab a linen shirt every time.

I think that's a great point. For me linen is completely casual, and doesn't really work when it's attempted to be "dressed up". Linen shirt with linen trousers feels like too much rumple. I also prefer trousers to be more textural than the shirt worn with it, as opposed to the other way around. A broadcloth shirt with linen trousers is fine with me, but a linen shirt with smooth, wool trousers not so much.

I just measured the Medium and the measurement from the centre of the top button, across the collar band the edge of the button hole (closer edge, meaning smaller measurement) came in at over 17". I can't imagine that anyone with a neck size of 17, or even 16, would wear a Medium. Considering that the top button would never be buttoned, I could even wear a 15". These are going to shrink that much? I guess I'll wait and see. Currently the shirt looks like a near perfect fit, but the collar looks like I'm wearing a larger size.

The medium is designed with a 15 3/4" neck in mind. After a few wash/dry cycles it should settle down around 16 1/4" or thereabouts. The cut specs are 16 7/8" with a tolerance of 1/8" average +/-.
