as much as he likes money, he can play.

Actually not bitter at all - was glad to see roster space open up with his departure.

CR7, Jaap Stam

Ehh. They got 80m for CR7 and I think 18m for Stam. Those are very good fees. Great players who could've had longer, even more successful careers at Old Trafford, but ultimately good business.

Sure 80m is good business but doesn't do much good when you become so poor (though helps that the whole league has suffered in recent seasons) but Stam was the worst, even Fergie admitted to this: "At the time he had just come back from an achilles injury and we thought he had just lost a little bit. We got the offer from Lazio, £16.5m for a centre-back who was 29. It was an offer I couldn't refuse. But in playing terms it was a mistake. He is still playing for Ajax at a really good level.

Erm, no. Rossi? Pique? Pogba?

Erm, three against how many others he got right?

Erm, these three have matured and done well but having left did they leave a great hole? No. Often fresh start, change of team, culture, country does the trick.

Obertan? Still poor.

Pique leaving for 7m is worse than Stam leaving for 17m (especially given the 7 year difference between the two transfers).

Obertan is poor, and SAF is a great manager and generally a very good judge of talent, but he's made mistakes like everyone else, and more than the 3 I mentioned. He's by no means infallible.

Knew that Hazard gif would make the rounds quickly.

1) Hazard's douchiness is questionable, in as much as it was late in a game Chelsea felt they should be winning and desperation was setting in. The "red mist" as an article on soccernet called it.
2) That kid was being a douche.
3) That kid got kicked for messing around with the game (ie timewasting for Swansea).
4) The FA will come down with the hammer of Thor on Hazard.
5) The kid will have a cool story to tell his mates.

the ref has a watch to keep track of time wasting -- be it on goal kicks, players rolling around, or in this case the ball boy trying to give his team an advantage. for a player to assault him in any way, come on...hazard needs to grow up. yet another example of the savagery of chelsea.

(at the end of clip looks like terry gets off bench to have a word ... not surprising at all)

that ballboy still sucks anyway
i hope he gets fired for interfering or failing as a ball boy

Agree...

It is like watching some European Italian,Spanish or Portuguese games from the eighties when the ball boy/crowd/subs were keeping the ball ato waste time at every opportunity..

Combined to the players continuous staying on the floor at any contact, the all thing was disgusting to watch..

The ball boy was a little **** and deserves a kicking..

Hazard is an adult and a profesional player and he deserves to be punished for acting like an idiot..

at first I was truly astounded that he'd do this, but after watching it (the long version) it almost looks like he might have been trying to kick the ball ouot from under him
