That was beyond unbelievable. I'm 100% certain its why he was subbed and not the yellow card as the commentator said.

To win a great ball like that and then pedal a tricycle towards goal that way was tragic idiocy. Look carefully, he never took his eye off of Casillas and became totally oblivious to everything including Cassano wide open on the left.

I don't find Lalas as annoying as many because he usually knows what he's talking about. Can't stand Taylor Twellman (MLS FLOP). I do appreciate Macca, and personal favorites are Martin Tyler and Ian Darke. Ballack has done well thus far presenting conflicting views and predictions to Lalas, but again - having played the game well, can't discount his opinion in the least.

Also, ESPN3's duo who cover La Liga are usually pretty good. Don't remember their names offhand though.

Twellman might be a flop overall, but he certainly wasn't a flop in the MLS. Scored a truckload of goals for the Revolution in his day.

Re: Ireland v. Croatia - Awful defending from the lads in green. Sunday league stuff. And unfortunately that's probably their tournament done and dusted. Unfortunate after they worked so hard in qualifying to get to Poland/Ukraine.

Yes. Balotelli was bad--worse than Torres by far. Cassano was open and screaming for the ball and he had the best of Barcelona defense all day.

I am really looking forward to this game. England has a superb squad, and has everything to prove. I would love to see her taking Euro 2012, but that is like hoping Spanish banks can sort themselves out. England's first game will not be a walk in the park either, because I am not sure which of the 3--ENG, FRA, SVE will move on. France will go all-out in the attacking tomorrow. There will be cards.
