Well still no blog action in the shop as far as I can see. I think the blog attracted people to the shop and not the reverse so it seems a strange commercial decision to me.

I credit Will more than anyone else for my interest in classic menswear. His blog entries always packed a lot of information into a small space. That's probably the definition of good writing. You could scroll through Will's entries and learn so much more, so much faster than an equal scroll through SF. He planted the thought of building a wardrobe vs. acquiring clothing. A quick example. While SF blared on and on about the horrors of black suits - in the early days - Will actually provided a reason: most of us white boys look like pasty corpses next to black (at least during the daytime). So thank you for that.

I expect that Will is too wise to abandon all the stuff that made his blog a daily requirement for the iGentry.

Will's posts would have been so much better if they were just words.

Thought some people here would be interested. ASW is holding some trunk shows in the next couple of months in San Francisco, Los Angeles, and New York City. The LA and NYC events don't seem to have times set yet, but I assume you can contact ASW for details.

Join Will Boehlke and the A Suitable Wardrobe trunk show in San Francisco for an hour or two of menswear enthusiasm and a taste of single malt. Stroke Seraphin’s lambskin jackets, fit Anthony Cleverley shoes and peruse a selection of knitwear and other interesting things from the collection.

We will be at the St. Regis San Francisco Hotel, 125 3rd Street, on Saturday, February 28, between 2PM and 6PM. Call (415.284.4000) or ask for Will on a house phone.

If you can’t make the date work, we will also be at The Beverly Wilshire in Los Angeles on March 14 and The Carlyle in New York on April 18.

I'm looking forward to the ASW trunk show this Saturday. Will has some things I've never seen IRL. The internet is great for many things but it certainly doesn't replace the in-hand enjoyment of fine menswear and accessories.

It seems there are hardly any articles in the archive. Is there any way to reread RJman's articles?

This is awful.

I notices the old articles I had bookmarked are no longer available which is too bad. Will had some of most well written advice I have seen posted.

You could try Internet archives https://archive.org/index.php

@TexasDan, if you have the urls for the bookmarks and they work with archive.org, could you please pm them to me/post them here? :)
