Slim fit, mid-rise, business casual cotton pants?

Anyone have any advice on finding a slim fitting mid-rise cotton pant/trouser? Most everything that I've found that is slim fitting cotton is low rise, and not suitable for tucking in a shirt on my frame (slim athletic build). Brooks Brothers Milano pants are too low in the rear rise. Their Clark cut is too baggy. I'd like to find something in the sub $150 range that fits this bill, and is of decent quality. Thanks for the help!

Honestly, what you're describing is probably available almost anywhere. I'm English, so I don't know what the American equivalents would be, but if I needed trousers like that for work, I'd just go to Marks & Spencer, John Lewis, or somewhere like that. Most mid-end department stores and the like stock these now, in the $150 price range, and they're more or less indistinguishable. Try JCPenney etc. (Macy's, Sears, Nordstrom—am I on the right lines?), rather than the hipper places like Brooks Brothers etc, which will have fewer options at higher prices.

No, don't. Epaulet chinos are low-rise; they're cut to reveal one's thong.

Howard Yount would be a better option, if you can tolerate the prices and Stoltz's titting about.

That and Sid Mashburn.

Epaulet Rivet Chinos have a low rise. Not advisable here. I agree.

Epaulet Walts on the other hand have a decent rise and are slim. They may fit the bill. Not sure what's being stocked in cotton right now though.
