Genuine dainite would be great, although for a dressier option I'm wondering if Bonafe offers a sort of R1 rubber sole, such as Edward Green.

Could go with the sole on these.

When it comes time for my EB jodh I'm thinking of that cleaner sole. I'm thinking of some sort of mid brown suede, 804 last, that sole, maybe a brown shell strap. Or a light- mid brown like the pair Skoak stocked recently.

Get a croc strap it looks great, ttown did it on his. Upcharge isn't a lot.
Hippo is also killer for a strap.

Yeah I would consider those straps as well. I've just yet to see anyone use shell on a strap and I'm also a big shell fan.

Vass oxblood is a really great color, I am not sure if Bonafe has an equivalent color in its arsenal.

Any specific leather you are targeting? Got them in etrusco but since it's such a classic staple cap toe I could be in for either a really dark brown or something lighter

Suede? Is it close enough to polo or snuff that i can use either as a matching belt?

Also, has anyone tried shortening a Carlos Santos belt? Is the construction similar to Carmina?
