and I'd be interested in a Thorpe in Dark Oak Kudo make up....

I am done with Thorpe make ups but as someone with two similar boots I'd say you guys should go GG06 with metal eyelets like the first boot. All previous kudu makeups were on MH71 including oxfords. Maybe even double leather with lighter edge trimming but that might be a bit much.

Hello guys, I’m trying to gauge instrest in the following GMTO:
Gaziano & Girling Thorpe
MH71 last (to be decided)
Dainite Sole with storm welt (to be decided)
Blind eyelets and speed hook
E-width (only one width available for G&G GMTOs)


Count me in. Preferably with a regular welt, not a storm welt.

I would also be in for the Arran.

If we can only do one I would even prefer the Arran.

But both would be best, of course...

Actually, regular welt sounds like a very good decision. If no one else objects...

Basically this style but with a few minor changes and in Oak Kudu (less reddish and a bit darker):


Limited availability - we already have a few requests for single MTOs in Oak Kudu so we're looking at maybe 16 spots or something like that.

Regular welt actually sounds better to me as well.

I like the idea of the MH71 Last for these also.

All brass eyelets actually looks good also.

All the other details get a thumbs up from me, where do I sign up?
