I received a Skoak shipment a couple months ago through their free of charge shipping DHL service.

Fast 2-3 days? Paid taxes ahead of time. No duty. CETA correctly assessed.

I think it was about $80 on a pair of $500cad L&T’s.

Oops sorry, i forgot about CETA. Last time i got hit with both duties and taxes on a pair of Enzo Bonafe. Mailed in the customs form indicating they should not have been charged duties and got a refund.

How did you mail it in the customs forms to CBSA?, I was also charged 20% duties + 13% HST on Enzo Bonafe recently - have not gotten around to filing the 'complaint' yet, do I need to have the original forms that was taped to the shipping box? It might be hard to find the receipt now. It was probably a month ago.

It was the customs form that is attached to the package. I just completed my details and gave a brief explanation "Enzo bonafe is made in Italy, which should be exempt from duties under CETA". Can't remember if i also included the receipt, if i did, it would've been the one that skoak gives with the package.

What about products that are made in Portugal? Are they exempt under CETA?

I may be wrong, but I'm guessing that a prolonged discussion of Canadian import issues is probably best placed elsewhere. This really has nothing to do with Skoak.

You’re wrong. This is the only thread it should be discussed on ;)
