I ve tried septième largeur it is far below the standard of Skoaktiebolaget.
Even Carlos Santos is far better.
I also have both, and I'm not sure that's true.

Neither maker is particularly high quality, but they make good looking shoes.

I bought two pair and not happy with it. Quality is very low from my point of view.
I bought two pairs of Carlos Santos, after 10 wear with each time 6/7 km of walk always look almost new. Not the case with septième largeur, lot of crease.
On one pair of 7L boots I had to make a patina on it to have an acceptable look, too much discolouration.

So I m not saying it s bad but at this level of price Carlos Santos is better from my point of view.
Carmina is also far above both brands.

may be Vass, this brand is in line with Skoaktiebolaget standard and customer base.

Of all the shoes I’ve seen posted from mystery maker, none of them are Vass welts. Also, Vass does not have a list that looks like that derby above.

Also the Valway boot design is slightly different from the Galway copy on Skoak (or patrik’s) instagram.

So, not Vass. :)

Happy to share Vass Cipo store prices via pm to anyone interested. Don’t want to get too off topic here.

Definitely hope it’s not Vass. Would much prefer a lesser known maker than one already well known and established.

I think it’s going to be a house brand. Next logical step for them in my opinion.
