That was an entertaining read. ^^^

I don't know whether it's an iPhone thing, a mobile platform thing or user error, but I have a problem. I will be scrolling through a thread and somehow end up automatically at the top. I know it has to do with images in some way, if I scroll too fast over the top of one it does it. I haven't pinpointed the exact problem in order to avoid it.

Anyone have any advice? It happens on such a regular basis that it's terribly frustrating.

iPhone thing. Happens when you tap the part by the time and the browser.

Is there a way to mark people so that you would see a flag whenever they post?
What I am looking for is to create a kind of quasi-ignore for people who don't necessarily clutter up the forum or who aren't the kind of aggressively idiots I want to be shielded from, but with whom I want to be reminded not to engage. Specifically, there are people who can be huge time-wasters because they argue a lot and argue stupidly, but they don't post frequently enough for me to remember them. If I could flag them, then if I came across one of their posts a few months later, I would be reminded not to waste time looking stuff up for them or thinking about a post in response to a comment or a question.

I believe the solution you are looking for is to create a new forum altogether.

I've just started to very liberally use the block feature. I know it's not exactly what you want, but it's worked pretty well for me. I'm sure I miss some non-stupid things some of the folks on my blocklists might post, but I got tired of dealing with it.

I realized that I also seem to always return just days before a national tragedy, you know. I'm with Piorethra, it's like... what?!?! Somebody better get to the bottom of me.

I did not want to mention that (amongst other things).
