So I’m looking to pick up some pieces but can someone chime in on how the recent work shirts and bedford/loiter fits? Work shirts (herringbone) seem to be true to size or down for slightly trim fit. Bedford and loiter seem true to size.
I cannot help with the really recent seasons of bedford/loiter, but I concur w/ them being historically TTS. I concur with the herringbone work shirts being trim even recently. The recent sz medium work shirts fit too tightly for me; at the larger sizes the front hem and collar get ridiculous for my taste. For further comparison I'm a 42R suit jacket and my old Uniqlo medium oxfords are too small for me at the shoulder, upper arm, and hem. I wouldn't know what to advise you exactly on work shirt sizing except caution w the medium.

^would say less gorp, but would be interesting if EG started doing a little bit of And Wander/Snow Peak type stuff but that might be a little venture off from EG core.
Depending on fabric but a pair of over pants and an Atlantic parka gets you in the road to Gorpville. There’s probably a few other bits you could use for that sort of look as well.

Good afternoon,

I've been looking for a while for a Olive Ripstop Bedford in size Small (with recent sizing, I'm actually a Medium in almost every brand) here in Europe and I can't find one,

Any help?

Thanks in advance,

Nacho

Have you tried second hand Japanese sites (Mercari, Yahoo Japan Auctions)? You could have better luck there if you want to go through a few extra steps of using a proxy.

How do you prefer trousers to be finished?

  • Plain hem

  • Cuffed (1.5 inches or less)

  • Cuffed (more than 1.5 inches)

  • No preference, as long as the proportions work
