Ps Just to be clear that’s not me, that’s a image from the web. But it’s the CPO I’m looking at.

Well, that dude should size up.

If you have a 42 inch chest and your garment is 22 inch P2P, you have a total allowance of 2 inch to account for the fabric's thickness and any layer underneath. It's going to fit slim. If you go for something slimmer, it's going to fit skinny.

I have a 40 chest and I prefer my overshirts to have a P2P measurement between 22 and 23.

Only 1 piece of EG, but I feel like the overall vibe fits:

Are birkenstock clogs really a current trend? I’ve seen them styled with EG and EG adjacent looks for the past decade.

right, at least in the U.S. I wouldn't call them a trend. They've certainly been an EG staple for years, Daiki is often photographed wearing them as are others on his team. I think they look spot on with a pair of fatigues/fatigue shorts and a t-shirt. super comfy. but def can see how they're not for everyone. a pretty particular look, right!

There are definitely more of them about beyond the confines of EG-land, I would say - there was some discussion of it in the general discussion thread a few months ago.

As a general note, I'm never going to be persuaded of something just because other people do it, even if it's Daiki Suzuki we're talking about. He's not a prophet. I love certain things that EG does, some things not so much, some things they do are just standard Japanese Americana / workwear revivalism, and plenty of things they do are, frankly, boring or bad. Of course it's mostly a matter of personal aesthetics e.g. I really don't like those stupid holster things, and I once got a pair of their chinos in a weird sort-of glossy fabric that was just terrible both visually and in terms of how they felt to wear. But, in the end, I prefer they try things and fail sometimes than be safe...

A great little store, I think one of my first EG purchases was from there- a pair of cargo pants that are still getting regular wear, I just had to patch up the knee as it had worn through. I don’t know if they still stock EG?
