To be fair most EG gets to the sales these day. Sure - you can see that the bright green Bedfords, olive anorak shirts and dark navy floral short sleeves are selling out, but seriously most will be discounted. And most will be available next year in a similar version. Don’t get me wrong, I spend far too much money on EG, but only a few pieces will sell out before sales. Also pretty easy getting stuff second hand these days.

you guys kopped any SS18 yet? really great season man with all the saturated colors and florals.

what are some of your favorite items or fits from this new season?

These were too good not to get. Popover on left and bd on right. Also got bright blue Ghurka shorts and a navy andover (below)

i find the popovers just a touch long this season. i'll probably have to shorten mine a little.

I think it also depends on your size. In general XS/28 (and I would assume on the extra large sizes too) are hard to find both during season and post

can someone with a jacket w/ the alternating button-snap-button-snap-etc comment on how they like it?

i think it looks amazing but is it realistically functional?

I have the TF jacket and the highland. I just do the buttons and dont bother with the snaps in both case and it works exactly the same. sometimes i snap the bottom snaps to keep the bottom of the jacket closed since they both end in snaps and not buttons.
