I'm thinking of wearing my watch over my shirt sleeve in classic Gianni Agnelli style. Forty years ago, enough people on the street would recognize the shameless copycatting to cause a real problem. But today, 99.99 percent of people have never heard of Agnelli. They'll just think that it's a cool way to wear a watch. And when I explain that I stole it from a famous Italian industrialist who owned Fiat and Juventas, my knowledge of historical trivia will impress them even more. True, I'll lose members of this site, who will mock me to no end. (Much of it deserved.) But love styleforum as I do, it's members are not my target demographic.

I recognize that it's not just the way Agnelli wore the watch, it was the way he carried himself. I think I can pull it off. I think it's a win/win. I'm guessing there will be some disagreement.

I think the watch-over-the cuff look works best when you are jumping out of your own helicopter into a neighbor’s horizon pool on the Italian Riviera.

Or you could adopt the watch style favored by the late British actor Peter O’Toole, who famously wore two watches, one on each wrist. As he once explained on-air to David Letterman (in a drawn-out and obviously stoned appearance), the reason was so he didn’t have to waste time looking at the wrong wrist.

No? A naive 28-year old girl who never has seen this before? God knows that I’m getting old and I need some help with these girls. Roofies are out of the question.
Are there still naive 28-year-old girls?

3 minutes prior to posting this you said in another thread you were “blocking this site.” Not a very appealing trait if you’re trying to attract 28 year old women.

Does your bespoke, second hand Attolini jacket have a secret pocket in which to carry your viagra?
