Another bomber jacket post. Sorry everyone, I hope this is the last time and hoping I could be more decisive, I'm really indecisive when it comes to choosing jacket with high price tag (for me). Anyways, the first one is by undercover season 03, really cool print and color, a bit bold, but I think I can pull off because I'm still young. The second jacket is a olive suede jacket by our legacy, really nice texture and color, the hardware is nice as well. I'm also considering what @dieworkwear mentioned William Gibson X Buzz Rickson bomber. Or should I keep looking? I'm open to any suggestions. Thank you so much again.

@yunBW do you want a flight jacket or ma-1? They're different styles. You should just get the nylon falcon garments ma-1? I'm recommending even though I got fucked over on a suiting wool ma-1 by TOJ.

The undercover jacket won't look good unless you have the wardrobe to go with it and I'm not a fan of ma-1 in leather or sued e

Seriously, get the William Gibson x Buzz Rickson one MA-1. It's one of the nicest I've seen. Another way to go might be Real McCoy.

I'm ok with either style, to be honest I'm just looking for a lightweight jacket to wear in LA because I know I will get the most wear out of it than all the outerwears I own except few pieces. I'm trying to find something that I like when I first look at it then began considering.

I'm kind of debating with falcon Garment because the style is similar with Alpha INdustries, but less blucky looking and more versatile. It feel no different than many other bomber jacket makers other than perfect fitting if done right imo. I really like the brand, but doesn't feel special when seeing it. I will give some more thought to it. Thanks for the suggestion

Haven't seen in person, maybe I should visit the store in LA to see in person and make a decision if they have it in stock. I really wished they had more color options like acne studios or APC

Feel like all these give different looks. BR is a rounder, more rugged, and slightly workweary silhouette (although can be worn in different ways). FG is a more lux, generic "fashion guy" look. OL and UC above will have straighter, more rectangular silhouettes than BR since they don't have ribbed hems (and the bodies look like they're cut a bit straight).

I think the BR can be worn in a more aggressive, punk-ish or workwear way. The other three are more "fashion-y" for lack of a better term. FG will allow you to get that versatile bomber that can be worn with slim jeans and whatnot. They also have different colored leathers. UC and OL are more unusual, but probably also less versatile (on the other hand, FG is kinda generic). UC one above doesn't even look like a bomber, FWIW.

I think the best would be for me to visit self edge and to try BR bomber out. But I have seen a raise in popularity of bomber being more puffy and cropped. I definitely think FG is easier to style, but I feel I could get that style from anywhere. I personally feel when I spend some money it shouldn’t be too genertric

My waredrobe is pretty versatile good amount of trouser, skinny black denim and slim navy denim. Also, some colored chinos. Also, I got a good of tops to go with it. I would say my style is more “fashion-y” with dapper, little bit of streetwear and a bit SLP. Not much Americana workwear or almost 0

Buzz Rickson's x William Gibson is easily some of the best jawnz I've bought in the last ten years. Quality is all over the jacket. It just has that heft when you pick it up.
Bullet proof. Love mine all Winter long.

I want brown or brown-ish suede boots. Kind of work weary.
Vis Virgil’s or viberg scouts?
If you want something comfortable and lightweight, probably the Visvim Virgils, especially if you have a high volume foot. If you want something that is bulletproof, definitely the Vibergs. The first is more "streetweary", the second definitely has a more traditionally "workweary" feel, though the Scout boot model is probably the least workweary of their standard lace up boots.

Thanks @LA Guy
I have no experience with either so It's kind of a crap shoot.
I want them to wear with some Lemaire stuff - White denim, 'rust' chinos (brownish-red) and some baggy light wash Chimala jeans. All in the 8-9" hem range.
Right now it's between these:

And I'm also considering these:

^ IMO Vibergs, or whatever is the top one, given how you want to wear them.

Anyone have thoughts on these two backpacks? First or second? Or neither?

I like the second, if you’re a kamato joe kinda guy, I guess. The straps look like they might be kind of a hassle, though. Like: Bag, I just want my stuff!
