DWW, I feel the same way. Thanks. It is ok. The thing retailed for $2,120 on Ssense, now down to $975, which is still nuts for a nylon jacket with faux fur. I can get it for mid $300s; that is why I am tempted. But it may still be a pass. Have to sleep on it.

I just think there's more interesting outerwear out there, although a basic bomber jacket with a few unique details can also be good. Not everything has to be on full throttle all the time

I think Pusha's manager shows that, when worn, it looks kind of boring. But that could also be an upside.

I've been wanting a cap for the longest time but I've been told it makes me look very boyish (don't care much for) and I'm not a fan of long bills.

Is Larose really all it's made out to be? What's different than this versus spending money on a cap from Alternative Apparel? I really just want to cover up my head during the weekend when I'm bumming it.

The Casentino I'm thinking will give a nicer contrast and 3D look to an otherwise flat black cap.

I picked up a Larose casentino baseball cap from East Dane, but I am returning it. It seems to be well made, but even a well made baseball cap in a fuzzy fabric is stupid looking on anyone over 25.

I have the casentino 5-panel and baseball style hat, the 5 panel is shallow and the baseball is more of a normal cap depth. Those photos ghetto posted above of the 5-panel look accurate. For me the baseball style fit my head better so I got the 5 panel on groiled

I like the fuzz, its playful and 'soft' literally and figuratively. I juxtapose with 'harder' styles like harnden/Rick

If you are going for GATs, stick with Margiela. If you are patient, you can find them at an attractive price. Earlier this year, I paid less for the white MMM's than what the Epaulet version is going for.

I paid $189 for a new pair of the classic white earlier this year from one of the European sites. I can't say you'll find that again, but low $200s is possible if you are not in a rush.

This is exactly what I had in mind, leather jacket, tee, jeans and sneakers with a soft Casentino 5 panel. And the 5 panel because the bill is 2.5" compared to the baseball cap of 3" (can anyone confirm?)

It's for sale on grailed. It's orange though, not black. I'm from Alabama so to me its also a play on 'hunters orange'

I confirm the bill length. I do like the shorter 5-panel bill, however the baseball hat is a better shape for me personally
